Add 1 cup coconut water and 1 tsp. of maca powder and lucuma powder for an extra boost in your cereal bowl or tea cup. If you don’t have any of these ingredients on hand, just use one or none and it will still be delicious. To make it “frothy”, pour back into blender and blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds.

Coconut water is like nature’s version of Gatorade. Brimming with electrolytes, it is hydrating as well as adding a little sweetness to the milk minus producing huge swings in blood sugar like other sweeteners.

Ingredients:
1 cup almonds, rinsed and soaked for at least an hour
3 cups of spring water
1 vanilla bean
3 pitted Medjool dates
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs

Blend all ingredients in high powered blender. Strain through a nut milk bag.

Makes ~20 oz. Will keep in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
