Becky Korfhagen received her certification as a Rolfer™ from The Rolf Institute® of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado. With a background in fine arts, design, and movement studies Becky has had a long-time interest in the relationship that exists between the body and its surrounding space. On a journey towards improved wellness, Becky discovered Rolfing® Structural Integration as a means of resolving her own physical pain and discomfort. She was impressed with the long-term, positive effects that Rolfing® S.I. had on not only her physical structure, but how it also gave her the tools to recognize and resolve patterns that were no longer serving her functionally. Becky is fascinated with the many options that an individual can draw from in efforts of improving their health with respect to the whole person. Having had a such a favorable personal experience of healthcare within an integrative framework, Becky has expanded her knowledge of several healing arts practices through further study, both at a university level as well as non-traditionally. As a Certified Rolfer™, she utilizes this unique perspective within her practice as part of an interactive relationship that respects her clients within their present state of being, while encouraging them on a path towards more ease and integration within their bodies overall. Becky is committed to continuing education within the areas of fascial network manipulation, movement studies, and additional areas of manual therapy.
