Joni Powers is a registered nurse and a graduate of Bethesda School of Nursing/Edgecliff College and Thomas More College. Joni began her career in nursing at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. She moved into rehabilitation case management, where she learned to coordinate medical disciplines and patient counseling to achieve an optimal level of recovery from injury and illness. Joni then became Director of Physician Services at Booth Memorial Hospital in Florence, Kentucky and St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Kentucky.
In 1999 Joni began attending workshops with Reverend Rosalyn Bruyere. She then graduated from the three-year Art of Healing program in Asheville, North Carolina, where she studied Energetic and Esoteric Healing under the guidance of Helen Yamada and Mary Branch Grove.
Joni joined AIM’s energy healing team in 2000. After a brief hiatus to develop a pediatric arts in medicine program for a non-profit in California, Joni returned to AIM in 2012. She brings to her work a passion for combining her education, professional experience, intuitive skills, and empathic connection with patients to promote healing and well-being.
